[Housing] Housing Strategy Group - November meeting postponed

For your information:

The next HSG meeting has been postponed from 6 November 2006 to Friday 1
December 2006.

The reason for the postponement is because the HSG is a sub group of the
Bristol Partnership (BP) and the BP has decided that all its sub groups
should be chaired by non Bristol City Council Staff. Paul Ville,
Director of Solon South West Housing Association, has agreed to be our
new Chair but he would not be able to make the originally scheduled meeting.

The December meeting will not include a full scale examination of the
Housing Strategy Action Plan though we will report a few interesting new
figures that have come through. The next thorough examination of the
HSAP will be at our Spring HSG meeting (6 March 2007). There will be
some presentations with a chance for discussion, including presentations
on Monitoring the Housing Market, Enabling new  Affordable Housing
(included RSL housing and housing secured through Section 106) and the
Black and Minority Ethnic Housing Delivery Plan.
