The deadline for Expressions of Interest and return of the Pre-Tender Questionnaire is: 24th October 2008.  This process is being undertaken using the Bristol e-Procurement System (BEPS).  All interested organisations will need to be registered on the system and download further information and the correct documentation from the site. SOROPOTIMISTS BARN DANCE FUNDRAISER FOR ONE25 CHARITY (7.30pm - 11.00pm)
The Soroptimists group are holding a barn dance, bar and dinner extravaganza in order to raise funds for local charity One25. TRANSFORMING LIVES, RECOVERY FROM ADDICTION (All day)

Using photographs and text, this exhibition tells the stories of 22 clients of the Addiction Recovery Agency, one of Bristol's main charities providing treatment and support for people recovering from addiction. The exhibition is one of a number of events marking the 21st anniversary of the Addiction Recovery Agency. A TASTE OF THE WORLD FROM ONE COMMUNITY - THE LAUNCH OF THE COMMUNITY COOKBOOK(From 1.00pm)
At Barton Hill Settlement, 43 Ducie Road, Barton Hill, Bristol, BS5 0AX. 'A Taste of the World from One Community' will be unveiled for the first time during the Multi-cultural Feast at Barton Hill Settlement to coincide with Black History Month. Residents from Barton Hill, Lawrence Hill, Redfield, the Dings, Whitehall and Easton have submitted recipes which are personal to them or are typical of their country and reflect the real diversity in the area. Community at Heart's Race Equality Project
has produced the Cookbook featuring 31 recipes from different countries with the aim of helping local people learn more about their neighbours. Food is a good way of getting a glimpse of another culture and some of their traditions. Contact Stacy Yelland on 0117 903 9879 for more information.
