*** SOCIAL ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT VOUCHERS ***
A new business support programme for social enterprises in the South West offers to fund the cost of specialist support to help you develop and grow through a Social Enterprise Development Voucher.  The voucher buys external expertise and advice from a Business Link approved list of contractors which can include; business, strategic and 
marketing planning, governance, human resources issues, financial planning, impact measurement and performance improvement.  The level of funding is likely to be between £2,000 and £4,000 and does not require you to provide any contribution towards the cost of the work.  Applications need to be received and approved by 31 October 2008.

*** DOMESTIC ENERGY USE SURVEY ***
Connecting Bristol are a key partner in the Digital Environment Home Energy Management System (DEHEMs) project looking to improve domestic energy efficiency and reduce household emissions. The Bristol based work is being delivered by Knowle West Media Centre as part of the Digital Neighbourhoods Programme.  A short survey has been

*** BRISTOL PRIMARY CARE TRUST (PCT) OPERATIONAL PLANNING PROCESS 2008/2009 *** 
The Operational Planning Process sets out how Bristol Primary Care Trust (PCT) aim to achieve key national and local targets. The Primary Care Trust (PCT) acknowledges that the Third Sector is uniquely placed to offer a wide range of specialist services and would value the expertise the Third Sector has in delivering them.

Grants are usually between £500 - £10,000 for organisations working with older people living with a long-term physical disability or health problem made worse by substance misuse.  The closing date for applications is 30 September 2008

>> JEANS FOR GENES
Grants of between £500 and £25,000 are available to UK registered charities for projects, activities or research that will improve the understanding of genetic disorders and help sufferers cope with challenges that arise.

Grants are awarded to organisations which aim to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK in the fields of social welfare, the environment and the arts.
