*** WHO WILL BE THE 500TH LUCKY MEMBER? ***
Voscur currently has a membership of a staggering 709 full and associate members. Of that 709, we have 485  local voluntary, community and social enterprise (vcse) sector groups as full members. To celebrate Bristols'  huge and diverse vcse sector we'll be awarding our 500th full member a years free membership, when we  introduce our new membership fees in April 2007. Who will be that lucky 500th member? It could be you!

The Governance Hub and Volunteering England are asking charities to register their trustee vacancies in  preparation for a public trustee recruitment campaign in Jan 07. NEW DRAFT VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY SECTOR INVESTMENT STRATEGY
Bristol City Council has published a new draft Voluntary and Community Sector Investment Strategy. This will  be submitted to Cabinet on 9th November.  Any comments on this strategy to be considered by Cabinet must be  submitted by 12 noon on 8th November.
